I have used Document Analysis to gather quantitative and qualitative data during the Intervention Plan in the Inclusive Practices Term. This was part of the Step 1 and 2 in the Action Research Cycle.
To elaborate my Intervention Plan, I had to investigate the following questions:
1- Is VFX, Animation and Post Production industries really a mid-class male dominated world ?
2- Would Soft Skills (specially STEM related) be a Key to Increase diversity in these 3 sectors ?
3- Is it worthwhile to restructure the MA course to nurture soft skills, particularly STEM related ?How can I change my curriculum in the first term to accommodate soft skills development ?
Even though the majority of documents were found and analysed during Steps 1 and 2. Extra documents were needed to be researched when I faced obstacles in Step 3 and 4 below
